Children and parents can tap in to a wide variety of resources to learn how to help themselves through advice from our experts, or receive direct care through specialized services. Most resources focus on prevention rather than intervention.
- Care Coordination Services provide a lifeline for children suffering from mental health issues by ensuring they receive the right care at the right time. In this intensive, family-centered program, Boys Town Consultants help parents and caregivers access, navigate and monitor the services their children need.
- Primary Project helps students in select Palm Beach County elementary schools improve their adjustment to school and enhance their social and emotional well-being. More than 600 children participate in this program each year.
- The Boys Town National HotlineSM (800-448-3000) is a free resource and counseling service that assists youth and parents 24/7, year round, nationwide. The Hotline received 5,300 calls from Florida in 2009.
- Boys Town PressSM produces books, audio products, DVDs, display materials and other resources to assist children, parents, caregivers, educators and other professionals. Materials purchased from the Press touched the lives of more than 12,000 people in Florida in 2009.
- YourLifeYourVoice.org is a special website that enables and encourages teens to share their problems and concerns in positive ways and provides access to immediate help in a crisis.
- Parenting.orgSM is a free online resource that provides practical, easy-to-use materials and information for parents and caregivers of children of all ages.
