For 90 years, Boys Town has been successful in helping children from all over the country to improve their lives.  This success, across a continuum of services that helps to provide troubled children with the right treatment, at the right time, in the right place, includes helping children in a variety of structured educational settings.

OVERVIEW

A program consultation is essential to the continuing professional development of your school or district. For an on-site consultation, one or more professionals from Boys Town will come to your site and provide guidance, advice and support to administrative and education staff. The consultation is customized to your organization and is conducted the day following your training in order to reinforce the new concepts.

BENEFITS OF SERVICE

During the course of your program consultation, our experts will help you...

• Address specific needs in your school (e.g., visit with specific teachers, help develop an implementation plan, develop skills to address common problems in the building, etc.)
• Facilitate a smooth implementation by conducting observation in classrooms, hallways, offices and common areas, and offering suggestions based any findings.
• Show your staff effective ways to weave newly learned skills into their existing classroom environments.

After the program consultation visit you will be provided with a written report, which summarizes collected data and reviews recommendations made on-site. The report includes further details about our recommendations, suggestions for continued implementation and information that may help you implement the suggestions.
