Two-Day Training Pre-req: Certified in
CSP-TOT three-day training option available)
TRAINING OBJECTIVES
This two-day Common Sense Parenting of Toddlers and Preschoolers: Training of Trainers workshop builds on the skills you learned in Common Sense Parenting Training of Trainers. Combining both workshops equips you with the knowledge, techniques, and materials needed to conduct Common Sense Parenting of Toddlers and Preschoolers classes in your community. You will master the content of the toddler's and preschoolers program's seven sessions. You will become proficient in using Common Sense Parenting's five training components - review, instruction, modeling, practice and feedback, and summary - to emphasize experiential learning. You will also receive a trainer's kit, which includes the four main instructional tools used to present the program - a parent book, a parent workbook, narrated videotaped examples of the parenting skills, and the trainer's guide. The two-day training of trainer's workshop includes lecture and discussion, question and answer periods, and group mock presentations.
