Behavioral Health Services
Psychoeducational Treatment Model (PEM®)
OVERVIEW
The Psychoeducational Treatment Model (PEM®) is a nationally recognized
model of care that is used in inpatient and outpatient child and adolescent
psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers, day-treatment programs
and other facilities that care for youth with psychiatric and related
behavioral disorders.
PEM is therapeutically oriented, allowing you and your entire staff to
act as potent treatment agents. PEM combines social skill instruction
with intervention strategies to support both you and the youth you serve.
It is the daily, on-going teaching that distinguishes PEM from programs
that offer traditional care.
BENEFITS
