What can I do to help my child if they are stressed over a crisis situation?

The things you can do to help your child when they're in a crisis situation is to get help. It's like if your child cut their finger, you'd put a Band-Aid on that; but if they had an open gash you wouldn't put a Band-Aid on that, you'd get help. Parents need to feel comfortable reaching out to professionals that can help them, to their clergy that can help them, to their extended family that can help them, so that they're not feeling alone and so that their child gets the proper help that they need.
