Generous donations from individuals, foundations and corporations are critically important in helping to fulfill our mission of saving children and healing families. Every dollar you give directly supports Boys Town’s services and programs, which help at-risk youth achieve success in their lives and allows us to expand our services to reach a greater number of children and families in need.

Types of Gifts
Unrestricted Gift: Donations that can be used wherever the need is greatest.
Restricted Gift: Donations that support a specific service, program, or an urgent need.
Major Gifts: Contributions of $10,000 or more enable Boys Town New York to fund vital programs and provide resources to help serve more children and families in need. Major gifts can be restricted to the program of your choice and larger gifts offer named giving opportunities, as well as other forms of donor recognition.
Memorial and Honorary Gifts: Donations that honor or memorialize loved ones, friends, or family members or mark a special occasion, such as a holiday, birthday or an anniversary.
Matching Gifts: Many companies match the charitable contributions of their employees. You can double the impact of your generosity by utilizing your company’s matching gift program. Visit your human resources office and ask for a matching gift form.
Monthly Donor Programs: Every contribution, regardless of gift level, is significant to the work of Boys Town New York. Monthly gifts in any amount are critical to our efforts to help abused and neglected children in our community.
Planned Giving: The goal of many families is to plan their estate to benefit both family and Boys Town New York. The most common estate gifts are cash and appreciated publicly traded securities. We also accept gifts of real estate, personal property, such as jewelry or collectible items, as well as intangible personal property including a paid up life insurance policy or a royalty.
Corporate Sponsorships: Support from businesses large and small is vital to our work. Boys Town New York offers a variety of ways for companies to partner with us and be recognized for their donations through special events, media and branding opportunities and employee volunteerism.
Gifts In-Kind: Boys Town New York provides family style residential treatment programs and the need is great for the following items throughout the year:
- Clothing for teenage boys and girls
- Backpacks and tote bags
- Personal care items
- Books, DVDs, board games,
- Televisions, computers, games and other electronics
- Sheets, towels, curtains, and bedding
- Cookware, utensils, small appliances and other kitchen equipment.
- Gift cards for grocery and department stores, so staff can purchase what is needed most.
Pray: For the children in need in our own communities and all across America, and for the funds to be available to continue to expand and help more children and families.
