McIntyre Memorial Golf Outing Rescheduled for October 18

The first annual Matthew P. McIntyre Golf Outing will be held Monday, October 18 at the Pawtucket Country Club in memory of a young boy who passed away to soon as result of an accident. 

Matthew's life began as a foster child in the state of Rhode Island - he lived in a shelter by the age of 2. The McIntyres, Paul and Denise, met Matthew and fell in love. "He was probably the most loving, charming child we have ever met," said Denise. "He had a huge heart and always told me that when he grew up, he was going to be a daddy and adopt 100 children."

The McIntyre's have made it their mission to assist Boys Town New England in order to help the organization provide a caring home to the children there.

The cost for the golf outing is $200 for an individual or $775 for a foursome, and includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, lunch, dinner and prizes.

All profits will benefit Boys Town New England.
