Boys Town Nevada Appoints New Board Members

Five influential community leaders will help Boys Town Nevada’s mission to save children and heal families grow as newly inducted members of the Board of Directors. Boys Town’s governing board will now include: Daniel J. Tuntland, Real Estate Broker; Paul Huygens, Principal of Province Real Estate Advisors and John Marushok, Spa Director for the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Retired Businessman Bill Postma and 2007 HOPE Award recipient Winnie Schulman have both been appointed to the Honorary Board of Directors for their years of service and commitment to the organization.

Each new governing board member promised to “provide the highest quality programs and services to Nevada’s children and families in need” and will serve for a minimum of one year.

“After visiting the Boys Town Treatment Family Homes, I am convinced that their programs and services truly make a difference in the lives of children in need,” said new board member John Marushok. “I’m excited to be a part of this incredible organization.”

“I am both proud and honored to add these exceptional new members to Boys Town Nevada’s Board of Directors,” said Tom Waite, Boys Town Nevada President and Executive Director. “Each has contributed significantly to the community and is committed to expanding Boys Town’s continuum of care to provide more services to families and children. All bring a wealth of experience, passion and knowledge, combined with a desire to help abused and neglected youth in Southern Nevada.”
