Keeping children and parents of divorce a part of one another’s lives
When parents experience divorce, separation or other circumstances that keep them apart from their children, they must find a way to stay involved in their children’s lives. That’s not always an easy task, especially when parents don’t get along. Boys Town can help.
Boys Town’s Parent-Child Connection Services provide:
- A neutral drop-off and pickup location
- Family mediation
- Visitation counseling
- Parenting plans
- Resource support
- Parenting consultation
Kids often struggle with their feelings when parents are no longer together and may feel like they are being "put in the middle". Parent-Child Connection Services helps alleviate these feelings by giving them the support to build relationships with their parents and loved ones.
Services are available free of charge to parents and children in select counties. For more information, call 712-323-4011 or email carrie.ausdemore@boystown.org.
Boys Town does not provide advice or legal counsel on custody issues. Please consult an attorney for assistance.
