If you are experiencing an immediate crisis, call the Boys Town National Hotline at 1-800-448-3000. The call is free, and trained counselors can help you handle immediate problems and refer you to local help in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
For admissions, contact any Boys Town location in the United States for more information and to find the location nearest you.
Step 1: The Assessment Phase
Boys Town's most important duty when making admissions decisions is to accept only those children who can best be helped here. We would be doing a disservice by taking youths who could be better helped elsewhere.
Step 2: The Commitment Phase
If a child has qualified for placement, then additional documentation will need to be completed by the legal guardian. The required forms will be sent to the guardian upon the child's qualification of placement.
Step 3: The Admission Phase
This final phase prepares both the guardian and the child for the day the child will come to live at Boys Town. An admissions representative will confirm that all of the required documentation has been submitted.
