Picnic Celebrates Families

Boys Town Louisiana youth, Board Members and staff celebrated all families with a Family Fun Picnic June 4.

Smoke from the grill filled the air as youth and adults spent a fun afternoon playing games and meeting new people. While feasting on BBQ, crawfish, hotdogs, hamburgers, potato salad and cake, the crowd listened as the Board Chair, John Zollinger, said a few words to recognize the families of Boys Town Louisiana.

The picnic honored all families in the state of Louisiana and across the nation, as well as offered a chance for families to display the progress they’ve made in Boys Town programs. More than 100 people were in attendance.
