Birdies for Charity Going on Now!

Birdies for Charity

Boys Town Texas is excited to participate once again in Birdies for Charity® as part of the Valero Texas Open!  Please make your gift NOW so Boys Town Texas can reach its goal of $10,000.

Birdies for Charity is a no-cost program that gives 100% of the funds raised back to the participating organization. It's like a walk-a-thon, but instead of donating a certain amount per mile, participants make a donation pledge for every birdie made at the Valero Texas Open. The 2016 Valero Texas Open had 1,834 birdies, so even a pledge of only $0.01 yielded a donation of $18.34. Sign-up today!

Donors also have the ability to make a one-time donation and the flexibility to pay in advance or be billed after the tournament. Donations are accepted from anywhere around the world and are tax deductible. Please make sure you click on Boys Town Texas as your charity!

To add excitement, donors can participate in the "Guess the Birdies" contest. Participants simply guess how many birdies will be made during the Open and the individual with the correct guess wins the Grand Prize – a 3-Night Stay-and-Play Package to TPC San Antonio and JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort!

For more information, please contact Joyce Horner, Boys Town Texas Development Director, at 210-271-1010 or joyce.horner@boystown.org.
