He has been with Boys Town New York since November 2011 after 10 years of service for Boys Town in Omaha, Nebraska. Jon started as a Family-Teacher with his wife, Kara, in 1998. The two worked with both boys and girls for over 5 years. In 2006, Jon was accepted in the Administrative Training Program and became a Clinical Specialist overseeing Treatment Family Homes. He then moved to the Nebraska In-Home Family Services department at the beginning of 2011 before his move to Boys Town New York. Jon was born in the United Kingdom and was a police officer for 6 years before joining Boys Town. He has a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a Master’s degree in Youth and Family Services. Barbara NwaehiSenior Program Operation Director Email Barbara Nwaehi began her career at Boys Town in 2004 as a Youth Care Worker and has worked her way up to her most recent promotion of Senior Program Operation Director. In 2007, Barbara relocated to Omaha, Nebraska to join the Administrative Trainee Program and after nine months of intensive training, Barbara was promoted to Program Director for Boys Town New York's Dean Street location. In 2009, Barbara moved to Boys Town New England to help start the Family Reunification Program. She worked as Senior Director of Operations for five years overseeing the Family Home, In Home Family Services, Foster Family Services, Common Sense Parenting ®, Family Visitation Services and Kinship Support programs. Barbara received a Master Degree from Brooklyn College and Bachelor Degree from Hunter College. Barbara is a member of the National Association of Professional Women, a mentor with Real Connections Foster Forward Program, a member of Junior League of Rhode Island/New York. Warner GrahamSenior Program Operations Manager Email Warner started working for boys town -NY in 2006. At that time he was hired into the Administrative Trainee Program where he worked in Omaha Nebraska for several months. During that time he had the opportunity to work in several sites across the Unites States. This afforded Warner the opportunity to work in all facets of the Boys Town continuum through various training practicums. Warner has worked as the Program Director of one of our Intervention and Assessment program for several years. He now assumes the role as a senior program operations manager. Warner earned his Bachelors degree in Political Science with a concentration In African American Studies and Community and Justice Studies from Guilford College, NC. He currently holds a master's degree in Public Administration from Bellevue University, NE. Nigh ManassahProgram Support Services Coordinator Email Nigh Manassah, LMSW, brings 7 years of experience in direct service and program coordination experience in social services to her role as Program Support Services Coordinator. Nigh has experience in program evaluation, clinical therapy, program management, grant writing and program coordination. With experience spanning three continents, Nigh was hired as a clinical therapist for Boys Town New York in 20011. In 2014 Nigh was appointed Program Support Services Coordinator, a quality management position. In that capacity, Nigh is responsible for oversight of BTNY compliance in accordance with Federal, State, local and contractual requirements. Nigh received her BS in Human Development (with honors) from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and her MS in Social Work with a concentration in Social Enterprise Administration from Columbia University. Nigh is a proud member of the NASW. James Hill James oversees all external relationships and events for Boys Town New York as Development Director and has been with the organization since February 2015. At 16 years old, James began working at a non-profit organization who taught vocational training to at-risk teens, and he continued working there throughout college during his summer and Christmas breaks. After college, James signed a free agent contract to play football in the NFL as a tight-end with the Seattle Seahawks. After football, James returned to the non-profit sector and began working in development to bridge the relationship gap between the missions of non-profit organizations and the values of philanthropists. James was born in Southampton New York and holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Abilene Christian University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Harding University. Alvin SincklerSite Financial Officer Email Alvin joined Boys Town New York in July 2006 and has 19 years of experience in Finance and Administration. He began his finance career in 1997 with TLC Beatrice International Holdings Inc. While at TLC Beatrice, he was promoted to Accounting & Finance Manager. He also has experience as a Financial Analyst for a marketing company, as a Senior Accountant for a cancer testing company, an Operations Manager at Bear Stearns Securities Corporation and Director of Finance & Administration for a Human Rights Organization. Prior to his finance career, he worked for the United Nations Facilities Management Service. Alvin received his Masters of Science Degree in Technology Management from Columbia University in New York and has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Management & Finance from Brooklyn College, City University of New York.
