25th Anniversary

Boys Town New England Celebrates 25 Years

Starting in a small leased office in Portsmouth, we operated two programs, served just about 100 youth and had a staff of 12. We were known as an East Bay area provider that worked mostly with younger children in foster care. Word of the good work we did spread as did the need for quality services. Our community support also grew. Now, in 2016, we are regarded as a top quality, state-wide, service provider. We continue to run our foster care and family preservation programs but we’ve added others: Family Home Program, Family Visitation Services, Common Sense Parenting, Professional Foster Home and most recently our Community Engagement initiative.

We have much to be proud of in our past, but our future is bright, as well. I look forward to working with all of you as we set a course for the next 25 years at Boys Town New England.

"Boys Town has been an enduring place which provides assistance to our brothers and sisters in the community who are in need. I support Boys Town as a way to honor the memory of my grandfather, Sedric Atkins who gave faithfully to Boys Town throughout his life."
