Our Staff Print Content Email Content Page Image Page ContentDr. Jason Gallant Dr. Jason Gallant, Chief Psychologist of the Boys Town Central Florida Behavioral Health Clinic, is a licensed psychologist specializing in individual and family therapy, parent training, and psychological testing for children and adolescents from infancy to 19 years of age. Dr. Gallant also provides extensive behavioral assessments, community training and education on behavioral health issues, and collaborates with pediatricians, teachers, and other adult caregivers to ensure a continuity of service and care.Dr. Gallant adheres to an evidence based model of care utilizing behavioral, cognitive behavioral, and acceptance and commitment techniques to improve client and family functioning.Dr. Gallant was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He earned his B.S. from Florida State University in 2004, followed by his Ph.D. in School Psychology with a specialization in behavioral pediatrics from the University of Florida in 2011. Dr. Gallant completed his pre-doctoral and post-doctoral fellowships in behavioral pediatrics at the Boys Town Center for Behavioral Health SM in Omaha, Nebraska. In his free time, Dr. Gallant enjoys fitness, traveling, reading, watching FSU football, and spending time with his Jack Russell named Lola. Dr. Joe Clemens Dr. Joe Clemens has 20 years of experience in the mental health field. He is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a focus on child, adolescent, and family therapy. Prior to his position at Boys Town, Dr. Clemens worked at a community mental health center as a Staff Psychologist and Internship Coordinator. He has spent the past several years supervising Master’s and Doctoral students and was a Graduate Faculty Scholar for the University of Central Florida’s Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology as well as being an Affiliate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Central Florida’s College of Medicine. Dr. Clemens also maintained a small private practice and served as a Consulting Clinical Psychologist for a juvenile justice program.Dr. Clemens was trained in the Scientist-Practitioner model applying evidence-based treatment and received his Master’s Degree and Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University New England. He utilizes an Integrative approach to treatment while focusing on cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness training, and acceptance commitment therapy. For recreation, Dr. Clemens enjoys soccer, Notre Dame Football, snorkeling and scuba diving.Dr. Felisha Garcia Dr. Felisha Garcia is a bilingual (Spanish) licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in treating Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, and Trauma. She is a gentile and warm clinician who prides herself in the caring relationships she builds with her clients. Dr. Garcia is a proponent of cognitive behavioral therapy and its hallmark of the therapist and client working as a team. With children, Dr. Garcia enjoys being creative and engages in play therapy, parent training, and behavioral programs to get to the root of problems and help children develop better problem-solving skills, appropriate behaviors, and positive relationships with others. She also has great rapport with teenagers, often working with adolescents who suffer from depression, social anxiety, acting out, and self-harm behaviors. Dr. Garcia earned her doctoral degree, with a concentration in Forensic Psychology, from Nova Southeastern University. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults in Florida’s diverse cultural environment and has practiced different modalities of treatment including individual, group, and family therapy. She also has extensive experience working with clients in the legal field and has testified as an expert witness in delinquency and dependency courts.In her free time, Dr. Garcia enjoys going to the movies, park hopping at Disney World, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her adorable Maltese pups.
