  • ​​​​​​​Nicholas (Nick) Kochek

    Board Chair
    UPS (Retired 2017)

    Nick KochekAs Vice-President of Operations for UPS of Southern California, Nick Kochek oversaw more than 5,000 employees and directed operations between Los Angeles, Inland Empire and Las Vegas. Nick retired from UPS in January 2017.

    A native of New York, Nick received his bachelor degree in Business Administration and his MBA in Business at Southern California University. He began his career at UPS in 1979 as a part-time package handler while attending college.

    In his community, Nick served as the program head for five United Way campaigns, twice achieving the “Spirit of Caring” award for the best campaign in participation and contributions. Nick has also served on the United Way of the Bay Area Transportation Council, and Board of Directors (Fundraising Committee) of Osteoimperfecta Foundation.

    Nick and his wife reside in San Juan Capistrano, CA. They have five children.

  • Nathan Fikse

    Nate FikseNate Fikse is a former football player, both in the college and professional arenas. He is a former All-American punter and place kicker at UCLA and spent time in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints. Nate also had the opportunity to play in the former NFLE (Europe) for the Amsterdam Admirals. He went on to pursue a career in Asset Management and has joined the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.

    Nate is also involved with UCLA Alumni Association, Bruin Varsity Club, Orange County Young Executives, and Boys Town CA.

    Nate enjoys spending time with his wife, Pam, and daughter, Cora. In their spare time, Nate and his family enjoy attending UCLA football games, skiing, snowboarding, Disneyland, the beach, and visiting the local museums and exhibits. He also enjoys running, outdoor activities, cooking, wine and coaching youth sports.

  • Adam Miller, Esq.

    Miller, Miller Menthe

    Adam MillerAdam Miller is a business attorney and the Managing Partner of the Newport Beach- based law firm Miller, Miller Menthe LLP. His areas of practice include business litigation and transactional work and his transactional practice focuses on advising businesses through commonly faced issues. Adam assists businesses with various issues, including the setting up and management of corporations, drafting contracts, resolving client and vendor disputes, the acquisition of assets including other businesses, and planning exit events including the sale of a business. Adam's litigation practice ranges from simple disputes with vendors, to bet-the-company litigations, to federal qui tam actions.

    Adam received his B.A., Summa Cum Laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his J.D. from New York University. Adam now lives in Huntington Beach, where he is an active member of the community. He is the host of his own annual charity wine tasting event called Uncork for Hope, which benefits Boys Town California, and is also a participant of CHOC Follies, an annual musical theater production that benefits the Children's Hospital of Orange County. Adam is also on the Board of Governors for the Center Club and is an active participant at the Jewish Federation and Family Services in Orange County. He serves on the ​NextGen Board as Campaign Chair, and is also currently serving a six-year term on the Jewish Federations National Youth Leadership Cabinet.

  • Robert (Bob) Bollar, Esq.

    SC Fuels

    Robert W. BollarRobert W. Bollar is currently General Counsel for SC Fuels and oversees all transactions, litigation, regulatory compliance, corporate governance policy creation/enforcement and insurance purchasing. He is corporate secretary for all the operating entities under the umbrella of SC Fuels.

    He has served on the board of directors of the California Independent Oil Marketers Association, the industry's statewide association of independent wholesale and retail marketers of gasoline, diesel, lubricating oils and other petroleum products. In 2010, he served as its President.

    Robert earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California, majoring in both Communication Arts & Sciences and Political Science. He received his Degree of Juris Doctor from Pacific McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific. He is “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

    James CameronJames Cameron is the managing broker for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices office in Irvine. He has more than 30 years of real estate experience in Southern California as a multimillion-dollar producer and a managing sales broker in the industry. As a coaching manager, James invites agents to speak with him about a new real estate career or growing business as a seasoned agent.

    Prior to real estate sales, he was chief appraiser for a $7 billion bank for nearly nine years. He is a state-certified general real estate appraiser.

    Mr. Cameron and his wife, Michele, have had significant involvement with the area schools and the American Cancer Society. They have three adult children who all graduated from UCLA.

He’s been recognized with Judge Pro Tempore, Orange County Superior Court; Who's Who in Executives and Professionals; and America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and American Trial Lawyers Association.

    Mr. Hartmann represents persons including directors, officers, employees, and other professionals and political officeholders who have already been indicted or who the federal government designates as targets or subjects of investigation and prosecution in white-collar crime cases. He also represents corporations and partnerships under criminal and/or administrative investigation, or already indicted for criminal acts. Mr. Hartmann also represents individuals accused of crimes in state and federal courts, and assists minors accused of crimes in Juvenile Court.

  • Kevin Hennings, CPA

    Kevin HenningsKevin Hennings is a partner at Hoffski, Pisano and Company, CPAs and Consultants. He has been with ​the firm for over 15 years and is the audit and tax partner for the firm.

    Kevin has been married to his wife, Kelly, for 11 years, and together they have two sons, Noah and Jaxson, and their daughter Lyla. Currently, they live in Yorba Linda, CA, which is the area that Kevin grew up in and went to school in.

    Outside of work, Kevin enjoys coaching his kid’s sports teams and playing ice hockey recreationally in leagues in Orange County. He also enjoys hanging out with family and friends as often as possible.

  • William (Bill) Jenkins

    William JenkinsWilliam “Bill” Jenkins was promoted to Vice President of Sales in 2011 and Executive Vice President of Sales in 2013 for Kawasaki Motors Corporation, USA. Previously, Mr. Jenkins was Director of National Sales for Kawasaki Motors. He joined Kawasaki in 1988 as a district manager in the New Jersey/New York area. He was selected to Kawasaki Motors’ prestigious President’s Council nine times and was named as the company’s District Manager of the Year twice. Appointed as the Easter Region Sales Director in 2002, Mr. Jenkins was named to head the national sales organization, as well as international sales for Latin America in 2009.

A California resident since 1978, he resides in Orange County California with his wife, Janet. They have eight adult children and 10 grandchildren.

    Jon obtained a pre-law degree from Ball State University located in Muncie, Indiana and achieved his Chartered Life Underwriters designation on a post graduate degree level.

    Jon enjoys many travel related leisure activities and has been actively involved in the Center Club of Costa Mesa as a member of the Ben Franklin Forum for several years.

    In addition to Boys Town California, Jon has been actively involved in his community in the Orange County United Way Board of Directors, YMCA Metro Board Member, Orange County Red Cross Board Member and Young Life of Orange County.

    Jeremy OgnallJeremy Ognall is the Chief Executive Officer of Gordian Dynamics and oversees Gordian’s overall strategic direction, customer retention approaches and growth strategies. Prior to founding Gordian in 2011, Jeremy served in various senior level roles within the technology sector.

    Jeremy is a graduate of Brunel University, London, England with Bachelors of Arts in Physical Education and History (1986).

    He resides in Laguna Niguel, CA with his wife Tina and teenage boys, Zachary and Ryan, where he enjoys the occasional round of golf and time at the beach. In addition, Jeremy enjoys serving in a capacity as Director of Rugby for The Claremont Colleges, Claremont, CA.

She has recently earned the honor of as a Top 100 Producer in Orange County and has been ranked Top 13% nationwide among Berkshire Hathaway agents nationwide. Julie's passion and heart for serving the community and those in need has been reflected in her charity work as Board Member of The Charitable Foundation, volunteering and fundraising for Giving It Back to Kids since 2004, serving the homeless through her home church at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, CA and recently been an active member on Boys Town California's Night of Hope Gala committee.

    Julie has been an Irvine Resident for over 25+ years and is a proud mother of two sons, Matthew and Mason, and daughter, Maddie. She enjoys yoga, tennis, hiking, and traveling. Julie was drawn to Boys Town because of the heart of its staff and its mission to save at-risk children and provide families the support it needs to thrive and succeed as a family unit regardless of their circumstance.

  • Jody A. Ward, Ph.D.

    Clinical and Forensic Psychology

    Dr. Jody Ward is a clinical and forensic psychologist in independent practice in Tustin, California, and is on various Superior Court and Juvenile Court expert panels in Southern California. Dr. Ward has been an adjunct faculty member of Pepperdine University and Argosy University, teaching classes in psychological assessment, criminal psychology, and alcohol and substance abuse. She is currently an academic consultant to Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University, teaching a yearly course in alcohol and substance abuse.

    Dr. Ward earned her Director of Philosophy, Masters in Clinical Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Biola University in La Mirada, California.
