Boys Town Intervention and Assessment Services

Boys Town Intervention and Assessment ServicesSM

Boys Town Intervention and Assessment ServicesSM provide care for abused, neglected, runaway and delinquent youth by removing them from dangerous situations, assessing their needs and beginning to work toward family reunification or other permanent care. Nearly 300 girls and boys, ages 10 to 17, find help each year through these services at our Intervention and Assessment Center in Oviedo.  Youth are referred by state agencies; some are involved in the juvenile justice system or are runaways. Average length of stay is 30 days.
