Boys Town In-Home Family Services℠

Trained Family Consultants work with families that are struggling to stay together or are in danger of having a child removed from the home. No matter what the underlying cause – economic hardship, substance abuse, marital issues, family conflicts, health challenges or others – the goal is to keep children in the home, or to reunify them with their family if they have to be removed from the home. Consultants work right in the parents’ home, helping them to improve parenting skills, create a safe, nurturing home for their children and use resources in the community to solve problems on their own. Consultants are on call 24/7 to provide support and assistance.

  • Children In Need of Services/Families In Need of Services (CINS/FINS) is a unique program that has worked closely with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Juvenile Justice and the Florida Network of Children and Families since 1995 to reduce juvenile crime. It offers children and families counseling, case management, screenings and temporary placement at our Intervention and Assessment center. About 60 to 90 cases are open and active each month.
