April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and Boys Town Texas is raising awareness about child abuse and neglect in the community. We encourage individuals to attend these events and show their support for children and families.

“Birdies for Charity” to Benefit Boys Town Texas

Golf San Antonio is providing Boys Town Texas supporters with a great opportunity to combine their love of golf with their desire to save children and heal families.

For a small donation per birdie, you can be part of a fundraising campaign that helps support Boys Town Texas and numerous other local charities in the community. A little goes a long way in this golf tournament!

Boys Town Texas to Provide Mental Health Services to Community Through Grant

Recognizing the need for children and families to have more access to behavioral and mental health care, the Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio awarded Boys Town Texas a $200,000 grant to start a new Outpatient Behavioral Health Service.

Arriving on his own personal jet, Santa Claus treated Boys Town Texas youth with an early Christmas party December 19, complete with presents, aircraft tours and a Christmas lunch thanks to FlighTime Business Jets.

Boys Town Texas Youth Say “Thank You” with Volunteer Work

Andy and Angie Guzman, Boys Town Texas Family-Teachers, saw their family values put into action when the six boys living with them spent long hours volunteering at Alamo Heights Methodist Church in San Antonio, Texas, because they chose to.

“The youth decided to do this volunteer work because they have been looking for a way to help and bless others for the blessings they have received through Boys Town,” said Angie Guzman.
