Pennsylvania Youth Give Back 

Boys Town Pennsylvania youth are working to provide the same help, healing and hope given to them to others in their community.

A group of Pennsylvania youth and staff formed a team to participate in the Pennsylvania Cares Day Volunteer-A-Thon on October 20. They devoted their time painting and cleaning a local elementary school, showing Pennsylvania students they care and want to make local schools a more beautiful place to learn.

Youth from Boys Town Pennsylvania Aftercare and Community-Based Detention Programs participated in this important event, learning how to use teamwork to accomplish tasks and the importance of giving back to their community.

The students’ commitment to completing this community service project provided valuable learning opportunities.
