Boys Town Nevada offers
a continuum of child and family services that
provides healing and
hope to Nevada’s at-risk children and families.
· Intervention and Assessment provides safe refuge to girls and boys in crisis, including runaway, homeless, court-placed or abused children until a permanent and safe placement could be found.
· In-Home Family Services offer both a 6 week intensive program, and a longer 3 month program. These services consist of in-home skill-based treatment programs for families in crisis. Boys Town consultants are available to the family 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
· Treatment Family Homes provides cognitive-behavioral treatment in a family-styled setting for six youth. In each of the five homes, children are cared for by a specially trained married couple called Family-Teachers, who live in the home 24-hours a day.
· Behavioral Network is an internal team of program professionals who provide individualized treatment recommendations for children referred for assessment by their pediatrican, case worker, probation officer, school counselor, or parents.
· Alumni & Ambassadors allows alumni to share stories, address and reconnect with each other. Ambassadors are alumni who offer guidance to youth who are ready to leave Boys Town.
· Boys Town National Hotline is a toll-free crisis and referral service operated by trained counselors who assist callers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you are in a crisis situation and need help, call 1.800.448.3000.
· Common Sense Parenting is a practical skill-based parenting program that can be applied to every family and will help build and reinforce healthy family relationships.
· The Boys Town Press offers parenting and youth related books, DVDs, CDs and much more!
