Prince Albert Visits Boys Town
Boys Town received its second royal visit in its 90-year history July 31, when Prince Albert of Monaco visited the world-famous village of Boys Town.
"It's a remarkable program," said Prince Albert, as he learned how the organization helps severely at-risk children and families find help, healing and hope.
Father Steve Boes, National Executive Director, and Tom Lynch, Director of the Hall of History, guided Prince Albert on tour, providing him a detailed account of the organization's history.

Prince Albert became ruler of Monaco in 2005, following the death of his father, Prince Rainier III. His mother, Princess Grace, was famed Hollywood star Grace Kelly. He visited Boys Town as a guest of Robert Owen, Chairman of Owen Industries, Inc., and Paxton and Vierling Steel.
Boys Town's first royal visit came nearly 50 years ago when Prince Constantine of Sparta, who later became King of Greece, toured the village during a trip to the United States.
