How to Help - What You Can Do:

1. Donate - A tax-deductible gift to Boys Town will change the lives of countless youth. One hundred percent of your gift will be used on the direct care of our children within 12 months. Call Donor Services at 1-800-217-3700.

2. Mentor - Children at Boys Town benefit greatly from the help of mentors in the HOSTS (Help One Student To Succeed) program. As a mentor, you have the opportunity to help Wegner Middle School or Boys Town High School children with math and reading skills. Many children enter our programs behind in basic educational skills. With help from mentors in the HOSTS program, they can often increase their skills by two grade levels in one year. Please contact Mentoring Coordinator Bruce Haag at (402) 498-1816 if you are interested in becoming a mentor.

3. Volunteer - Boys Town's historic campus at Boys Town, Nebraska has many volunteer opportunities such as helping at the Hall of History. Or, perhaps you have a special way you would like to volunteer to help the kids. Please contact Volunteer Coordinator Tom Lynch at (402) 498-1186 if you are interested in becoming a volunteer.

4. Pray - For the children in need in our own communities and all across America, and for the funds to be available to continue to expand and help more children and families.

5. Leave a Legacy - Planned or deferred gifts present donors with many options and provide children with a chance at success. For more information, call the Boys Town Planned Giving Office toll free at 1-888-332-3219.

6. Teach - Build awareness of youth issues in your area and unite with your local community to help us reach out to more children and families.

7. Contact Boys Town Home Campus for more "How to Help" opportunities.
