Boosters Help Boys Town Athletics
The Boys Town Sports Boosters presented a $60,500 check at halftime of the Boys Town vs. Lincoln Christian football game Sept. 8, 2006. The proceeds, which came from the May sports banquet featuring Hall of Fame baseball player Johnny Bench, will benefit more than 400 Boys Town student athletes.
“We had a great Boosters Banquet this year,” said Father Steven Boes, Boys Town Executive Director. “The Boosters are some of those behind-the-scenes players that really make a difference in the lives of our kids.”
